Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Attapulgus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, while observing and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
