Job Description

As a Security Officer Welcome Center in Andover, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will be the welcoming presence for visitors and employees. You will manage access, communicate professionally, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor sign-in, identification verification, badge issuance, and notification of appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while providing professional communication and directions to guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
