Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Reporting in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will assist visitors and staff, report security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and authorized access points; verify credentials as required; and maintain awareness of visitor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
